Open discussion about best practices on Environmental-Conscious Netiquette
The Green Netiquette (GNET) Project aims at promoting the use of environmental-conscious netiquette as a transversal skill and competence (as outlined by the ESCO classification) and to raise awareness and promote good practices for an environmentally and people friendly use of digital technologies.
GNET pursues its objectives through knowledge-based, bottom-up approach actions involving youth and youth workers in practical activities inspired by learning-by-doing methodology.
Its objectives are:
- to identify, highlight, and promote good practices for an environmentally and people friendly use of digital technologies;
- to stimulate debate on the topic of a ‘Green Netiquette’ among EU youth and youth workers;
- to contribute to the European Year of Youth 2022 by encouraging youth and youth workers to build a better future – greener, more inclusive and digital;
- to increase quality and appropriateness of youth work by training youth workers on the topic of environmentally and people friendly use of digital technologies;
- to give visibility to common values and foster green/digital participation through an ad hoc Communication and Dissemination strategy.
